Each month the social committee plans a variety of events that are age-appropriate for our members. Our “field trips” are educational and entertaining and being accompanied by friends will make the event even more fun. While some of our outings involve typical field trip locales such as the zoo, fire station or local children’s museums, many of our outings involve special behind the scene tours of local businesses. In the past we have visited Whole Foods, Navlet’s Nursery and Krispy Kreme Donuts.
The club also sponsors several special events during the year that provide opportunities for families to get out and have some fun with other club members. Past holiday events include the Spring Party and Egg Hunt, a Halloween Party with safe “trick-or-treating”, and the Holiday Party.
In addition to our outings and special events, we also have regular scheduled play dates. These unstaffed casual gatherings are a great opportunity for members to meet one another and make new friends.
